Strauss back as England Captain

WCA Alumnus Andrew Strauss has returned as captain for the 1st Test against the West Indies, starting on Thursday at Lords.

The World Cricket Academy (WCA) creates and structures international development programmes "for cricketers by cricketers" catering to both professionals and amateurs in a variety of age groups and abilities.

WCA programmes run in the following locations: Mumbai and Mohali India, Sydney and Perth, Australia, Durban and Pretoria South Africa, Colombo, Sri Lanka, Bridgetown, Barbados, Surrey, England; offering opportunities for cricketers to learn from cricketers to improve their skills and learn nuances in varying conditions.

What We Do:
  • Provide development programmes for individuals, groups and teams
  • Address skill development, fitness, relaxation techniques (yoga)
  • Offer the latest technical developments via motion capture & analysis
  • Structure coaching, matches, tournaments and interaction with the local players
