Bopara trains with WCA
On Monday, England cricket Ravi Bopara had a training session at Reigate
Priory CC with WCA Coaches Zubin Bharucha and Monty Desai.
The wicket at the Priory was specifically prepared to be a third day turningwicket similar to what he would encounter in Sri Lanka and the coaches put
him through his paces bowling spin (both off and leg spin) from the half
wicket length, to increase Ravi's reaction time against quality spin
bowling. The WCA coaches who have been working with Ravi in India for over
four years now are wanting to improve his technique so that Ravi becomes not
only a quality ODI player, but also a top quality Test player.
