WCA Learning Centres Launched in India
WCA are proud to announce the launch of the WCA Amravati Learning Centre. Amravati is a bustling town approximately 200 Kms from Nagpur, which is one of the seventh most populated city's in India. Other WCA centres being launched by November 2005 are in Bhadohi, Indore, Mumbai (Borivali), Pune, Srinagar, Nagpur, Navsari with a total of 25 learning centres targetted by end of the 2005/6 season.
The WCA is playing an active and co-operative role within the local community in bringing employment and revenue generating opportunities to former sportsmen and women in opening cricket and sports learning centres in towns and city's across India. The WCA charity programme "Joy For Cricket" has funded the start of some of these centres around the country.
