ECB National Academy attend WCA

Eight ECB National Academy cricketers along with Peter Moores and David Parsons have arrived in Mumbai for a World Cricket Academy programme. Returning alumni include Mike Yardy, Jamie Dalrymple and Ed Joyce.

Chris Read, Luke Wright, Stephen Davies and Gareth Batty are attending for the first time.

On Tuesday morning they will be put through their paces by Jonty Rhodes in a fielding session, then will get down to work with Hanumant Singh and Monty Desai.

The Programme ends on Tuesday 6th December.

Jonty Rhodes Fielding Programme

The WCA's Jonty Rhodes Fielding Programme will be held at the Cricket Club of India, Mumbai on 27th, 28th and 29th November.

Yorkshire to attend WCA in Mumbai

Nine Yorkshire players are flying out to Mumbai in India on Sunday to spend nine days at the World Cricket Academy.

Batting coach Kevin Sharp is leading the party, which comprises of batsmen Anthony McGrath, Matthew Wood, Joe Sayers, Michael Lumb, Andrew Gale and Richard Pyrah, as well as spin duo Richard Dawson and Mark Lawson and newly-signed wicket-keeper Gerard Brophy.
