Gloucestershire CCC complete successful Pre-Season Tour
Gloucestershire CCC completed their Pre-Season Tour of Pretoria and Durban with a 100% record in their matches.
Up in Pretoria, at the highperformancecentre, they defeated Holland by 20 runs and a Tuks Invitational XI by 120 runs. Down in Natal, they narrowly beat the KZN Inlands XI at the Pietermaritzburg Oval by 4 wickets in the last over, and also beat a KZN Invitational XI inside 2 days of a three day match at the Chatsworth Oval, and finally a win in a low scoring affair against the same side in a hastily arranged One Day match.
Head Coach Mark Alleyne was extremely happy with the Pre-Season Tour, and on arriving back in the UK - GCCC beat Middlesex CCC in their first warm up match for the 2006 season.
