ECB Development Squad Announced

The ECB has announced its 25-man England Development Squad for this summer’s international season.

The following WCA Alumni have been included Andrew Strauss (Middx), Alastair Cook (Essex), Ed Joyce (Middx), Jon Lewis (Gloucs), Alex Loudon (Warwicks) & Chris Read (Notts).

Six WCA Alumni make England U19 trials

Congratulations to Varun Chopra, Simon King, Rory Hamilton-Brown, Mark Stoneman, Chris Thompson and Billy Godleman on their selection for England Under 19 trials.

The trial will take place at Loughborough Town Cricket Club from May 22nd to 26th.

England U17 Regional Squads named

WCA Alumni Kabir Toor, Ben Brown, Adam Wheater, Liam Dawson and Benny Howell have all been selected for the England Under 17 Regional Academy matches.

The matches are to be held at Bradfield College and Worksop College from May 29th to June 1.

Everyone at the WCA wish the boys all the best.
